    What about the job itself?

     

    The Marketing Intern will support the Sales team in proactively develop blogs and new content for the website; analyze data and assist in future strategy development while enhancing the reputation of the organization. The intern will be primarily executing a strategic and tactical marketing plan to help ORS achieve their marketing goals. We are looking for a student who enjoys challenges where no one day is the same. 

     

    In order for your application to be reviewed, all candidates must submit a writing sample along with application.

     

     

    Will you pay me?

     

    Of course!  We won’t attract the right person without providing the right compensation package.  So, here is what you can expect.  You’ll be paid hourly and be asked to work 20-30 hours consistently throughout the term.  If you have a week or two where you are heading to the Shore or the Serengeti, that’s fine too – just let us know. Also, we know each University’s requirements to receive credits is different. We are happy to work with you to make sure you are fulfilling the necessary criteria to receive credits for your time here. Beyond your compensation, you’ll be surrounded and interact with both young professionals and senior executives - each who generously share their time and expertise to help you be successful.  In non-financial terms, we can also promise you fun, food, perhaps a social hour or two (provided you are of legal drinking age) and participation in any of the impromptu events or pranks which randomly break out at our office in Audubon, PA.

    Responsibilities

    Intern Responsibilities:

    • Develop content for landing pages, blogs, emails and other campaign materials as needed
    • Proofread materials for colleagues and provide quality control
    • Work closely with sales team and executives to build content strategies
    • Manage multiple tasks effectively and meet tight deadlines
    • Monitoring online competitor presences/perceptions.
    • Researching new channels for relevance/trend identification.
    • Candidates with a strong background or education in one or more of the following are preferred: Communication, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Advertising, etc

    Qualifications

     

    Job Requirements / Qualifications

    • Candidates are required to be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
    • Candidate must possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Candidate must bring to the position outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
    • Candidate must possess follow up skills and documentation skills
    • Experienced or willing to learn WordPress
    • Has an understanding of best practices for SEO
    • Willing to learn the basics of Google Analytics
    • Candidate should possess proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Internet usage
    • Candidate should possess a strong willingness to learn in a collaborative start-up environment with seasoned executives.
    • Candidate must have ability to communicate results to management and in a fast-paced environment.
    • Candidate must be eager to meet and exceed objectives.
